Laboratory quality control is an integral part of our Assay Services Unit.
All of our laboratory equipment undergo routine preventative
maintenance to insure proper functionality. Our pipets are checked
twice a year for accuracy and precision with
our on site pipet verification system.
Each assay includes in-house generated quality control pools as well as
any provided by investigators for specific projects.
Our quality control software from Westgard QC, Inc. provides us with an outstanding cost effective way of
determining how many quality control samples per assay
are needed to achieve a set quality requirement.
Electronic spreadsheets are kept for each quality control pool
which calculate both the intra and inter-assay
coefficient of variation (CVs)
and plot each control value on a
Levey-Jennings control chart.
Here are the current quality control values for several of our
various assay types.
These values change daily but we will update this example Web page
on a yearly basis. Please contact us for specfic CVs of any
other assay type not listed here.
