Targeted Panels for Specific Steroid Types by LC/MS/MS
Target panels include metabolic pathways for androgens, estrogens, progestins or glucocorticoids. A reproductive panel is available measuring the following steroids: cortisol, testosterone, androstenedione, DHEA, progesterone, estradiol, and estrone.
*Steroid panels may be customized by request from the investigator but may require further R&D.
Extraction methods are available for the following media: serum, urine, saliva, fecal, cell extractions, and hair.
Vitamin D Analysis for Human and Non-human Primates by LC/MS/MS
Assay Services now offers measurement for:
- 25-hydroxy vitamin D2&3 (Ergocalciferol and Cholecalciferol): A rapid method requiring only 50 µl of serum for human samples and for nonhuman primates. NIST (NIH Vit. D Metabolites Quality Assurance Program) parcipitation ensures our values match the national norm.
- 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D2&3: Validated against RIA for humans samples and shows increased sensitivity over other methods using derivitazation. Measurements have been performed for humans using 200 µl, and less for the cynomolgus, rhesus macaques and the common marmoset.
- Vitamin D metabolite panel: Cholecalciferol (D3), 24,25 hydroxyvitamin D3, 24,25 hydroxyvitamin D2, 25 hydroxyvitamin D3, 25 hydroxyvitamin D2
